Looking Forward...

6 days until our scrapbook day at Trisha's house!! Carmen and I just can't wait. I have been having the terrible itch to scrapbook lately but never can find the time to not feel guilty about sitting down at my table in the basement to work on anything. I started a double page layout over a month ago of Larkin's birth ... and just actually glued the stuff down yesterday but it still isn't finished! Seems like there is always something else I should be doing instead. I have a goal today to get the house dusted (which I don't do very often but it needs it SOOOO bad!), move some of Triston's stuff to the basement and finish laundry from yesterday--if I can get all that done maybe I'll get an hour in at the scrapbook table (I do have a good start already on each task...I might have ADHD!!). Carmen & I did clean up our scrap yesterday so we're on a good start of getting ready to head to DC next week (that's not Washington!!). I also got the real scrapbook suitcase for Christmas from my mom so this will be the first time I get to use that--pretty excited about that!! I'm thinking of handing down my regular suitcase I always used to Carmen--she already has plenty of stuff to almost fill it too! It's a good mommy/daughter bond time to do it together. Anyway--we are so excited to get together for some girl time and some productive scrappin'!!!

The Hair Monster!

I had to share a few pictures of our boy and his wild & crazy hairdo!!! You know the in thing with the boys is to have the longer hair--I'm not sure I like those styles at all but I guess you have to give in to little things like that so kids can explore their own style and personality. This is how Triston came out of the bathroom last night after taking a bath--there is no gel, hairspray or anything in his hair--it's just that he has a lot and it's thick! There are girls that would kill for hair like him...and his dad! ha ha! He has my hair genes that's for sure. Oh, and the nice little scab on his lip is another story all in it's own...it looks pretty good now actually. Carmen 'accidently' hit him in the mouth with her lunchbox when they were walking home from school on Tuesday. Even Triston says it was an accident (even though he's still mad at her about it) so I guess we have to believe them!
